Now that your website has been live for a week, here are a few things you can quickly check to ensure everything is working as it should:
? Site Functionality
- All pages and images are loading correctly (no error messages or broken links)
- Forms are still working and enquiries are landing in your inbox
- Any booking or contact features are functioning as expected
? Email Notifications
- You’re receiving website enquiries (check spam folder just in case)
- No issues flagged with website email or form delivery
? SEO & Visibility
- Your site appears in Google Search when you search your business name
- You can log into Google Search Console and have checked Google Search Console Insights
- Google Analytics is tracking visits (if set up)
? User Experience
- Everything looks great on mobile and desktop
- No unusual layout shifts or issues when scrolling or clicking
- You’ve had positive feedback from users or clients
? Website Security & Access
- You have admin and editor access and your password is secure
- 2FA login is enabled and working
- Your website has at least 1 back completed and automated backups are scheduled
? Promote & Celebrate
- You’ve shared your new site on social media
- You are inviting happy clients to leave a Google review -eg/ you can add your google review link to your invoice footer
- You’re feeling confident and in control!
