Brand and website refresh increased search impressions by 1,775% and new enquiries by 22%

A trusted local business with a brand and website that weren’t converting its reputation into enquiries.
Ballarat Lawn Mowing had already built a strong local reputation through community recommendations and word of mouth. However, its visual identity had become dated and inconsistent across the website, signage, business cards and social platforms.
The existing website had some search visibility, but it wasn’t turning enough of that attention into genuine enquiries. The branding lacked the consistency needed for quick recognition, while the website’s structure, calls to action and trust signals weren’t supporting confident customer decisions.
This wasn’t a full digital overhaul. The goal was to create a stronger brand and conversion foundation that could perform as a standalone improvement, then support more advanced SEO and content work when funding allowed.
Build the brand and website foundations first, then create room for growth.
The project was delivered in stages between late April and July, allowing Ballarat Lawn Mowing to manage the investment gradually without delaying the improvements that mattered most.
We began with the brand identity, creating a recognisable visual system that could work consistently across vehicles, signage, print and digital channels. We then refreshed the existing website around clearer service pathways, stronger calls to action and more credible trust signals.
Foundational SEO was built into the website structure through improved metadata, local business schema, cleaner page architecture and stronger Ballarat service signals. No external link building, advertising or active content campaign was used during this stage. The aim was to see how far a better technical and conversion foundation could move the business on its own.
Local brand and logo refresh
Consistent multichannel rollout
Conversion focused website refresh
Local and technical SEO foundations
A staged, scalable rollout
A stronger local brand, more enquiries and a 1,775% increase in search visibility.
The refreshed brand gave Ballarat Lawn Mowing a more recognisable and professional identity without losing the approachable local character behind the business. Consistent presentation across signage, print, social media and the website helped strengthen recognition both online and throughout the Ballarat community.
The website began producing commercial results quickly. New client enquiries increased from an average of approximately 25 to 30 within 30 days, representing a 22% lift. Visitors also spent around 30% longer on the site, suggesting the clearer structure and improved presentation were helping people explore services and build confidence before making contact.
Search growth continued as the new technical foundation settled. Comparing Q1 and Q4 2025, Google Search impressions increased from approximately 3,300 to 61,900, while organic clicks grew from 21 to 238. Average position improved from 49.7 to 37.9 overall, with Ballarat focused keywords averaging approximately 19.2.
Several commercially relevant local terms also reached the Top 10, including “mowing services Ballarat” at position 7.2 and “lawn mowing Ballarat” at position 9.8.
These gains were achieved without link building, paid advertising or an active publishing campaign. The results show what a clearer brand, stronger conversion pathways and technically sound local SEO foundations can achieve before a larger growth campaign begins.
The next opportunity is to compound that visibility through locally focused service content, project stories, customer reviews and conversion testing based on real GA4 interaction data.
