Summary
Cube operates a network of specialist websites that support referral partnerships, customer enquiries, and community-driven business growth. Over time, these sites had become weighed down by outdated Elementor builds, ageing plugins, and inconsistent technical setups. We rebuilt the entire ecosystem using Breakdance, modernised the plugin stack, improved performance through caching and optimisation, and launched a new website for Cube Web Services. The result is a faster, more reliable, and easier-to-manage digital platform that supports multiple brands while reducing technical overhead and future maintenance costs.
Cube Central

Cube operates several specialist service brands across financial services, conveyancing, business lending, personal lending, health insurance, connectivity services, and web services.
Over time, these websites had accumulated a mixture of ageing plugins, outdated Elementor implementations, and inconsistent technical configurations. While the sites continued to function, they were becoming increasingly difficult to maintain, update, and optimise.
The objective wasn’t SEO.
These websites serve a different purpose.
Cube has an established customer base and strong community relationships throughout the local business sector. The websites act primarily as focused landing page assets that support referral partnerships, generate enquiries, and provide a trusted online destination for customers seeking specific services.
The challenge was creating a modern, maintainable digital ecosystem that could continue supporting these business goals without the technical debt that had accumulated over time.
Our Approach
Rather than treating each website as an individual project, we approached the work as a complete digital infrastructure upgrade.
Platform Modernisation
Each website was rebuilt from Elementor to Breakdance Builder. This provided:
- Cleaner code output
- Reduced plugin reliance
- Improved maintainability
- Faster page rendering
- Better long-term flexibility
- Lower technical overhead
Plugin Rationalisation
Legacy plugins were reviewed and replaced with modern alternatives where appropriate.
- Fewer plugin conflicts
- Improved security
- Easier maintenance
- Reduced update complexity
- Better platform stability
Performance Improvements
The goal was to create faster-loading websites that deliver a smoother experience while reducing server load and maintenance requirements. Across the network we implemented:
- Modern caching systems
- Asset optimisation
- Performance tuning
- Database cleanup
- Improved hosting configurations
New Website Development
Alongside the rebuild program, a completely new website was created to support Cube Web Services, expanding the Cube ecosystem with an additional specialised brand presence.
Brands Included
- Cube Central
- Cube Business Loans
- Cube Personal Loans
- Cube Conveyancing
- Cube Connect

- Cube Web Services
The Outcome
The project delivered a modern, standardised digital ecosystem that is significantly easier to manage and maintain.
Key outcomes included:
- Migration from Elementor to Breakdance across multiple websites
- Modernisation of outdated plugin stacks
- Improved website speed and performance
- Reduced technical debt
- Enhanced platform stability

Strategic Impact
These websites are not designed to compete for large-scale organic search traffic.
Instead, they function as highly focused landing page assets that support Cube’s existing customer relationships, referral partnerships, and community-driven business model.
The project ensured that the underlying technology now matches the professionalism of the Cube brand, providing a reliable and scalable platform that can continue generating enquiries and supporting partner revenue streams for years to come.
