Horseshoe Bend Nursery needed an eCommerce platform that could support a growing inventory without becoming difficult to manage day to day. As product ranges expanded and stock changed regularly, the website needed to balance customer usability with practical tools for staff.

Mobile-Friendly Product Management
Plant inventory changes frequently, and updating products from a desktop wasn’t always practical.
To make ongoing management easier, we implemented mobile-friendly product forms that allow staff to add and update listings while moving around the nursery. Product information can be updated quickly, reducing reliance on the WordPress admin area and making stock management more practical for day-to-day operations.
Improved Product Discovery
Large catalogues become difficult to browse if customers have to scroll endlessly to find what they need.
We introduced advanced product filtering and navigation tools that allow customers to narrow down products based on relevant attributes and categories. The goal was simple: help customers reach suitable products faster while reducing friction throughout the buying process.
Integrated Shipping, Payments and Business Workflows
The nursery required a system that could handle both delivery and local pickup scenarios without creating unnecessary complexity.
Custom shipping and tax logic was implemented to support different fulfilment requirements, while payment processing was integrated through Stripe. Backend workflows were also connected with Xero to streamline order and financial processes, supported by customised transactional emails for clearer customer communication.

On-site SEO foundations and structured schema were implemented to support search visibility, while training was provided so the Horseshoe Bend team could confidently manage products, content updates, and promotions internally.
