From a starter tradie site to a brand that looked established

Summary
South Brisbane Lawn, a lawn and garden business in Yeronga QLD, rebranded as LeafCycle in September 2025. Brighter Websites designed a new logo and colour system for $950, then redesigned the website around it for $1,400, achieving 100 Lighthouse performance and SEO scores and sub-1.2-second load times.
The business had grown up. The brand hadn't.
South Brisbane Lawn launched in 2023 with a simple site I built to get it found and get the phone ringing. It worked. Two years later, the business was established, but it still looked like a starter tradie site: minimal branding, a plain layout and a quote process that didn’t do much on mobile.
The owner wanted to move from “local mowing guy” to a lawn and garden brand customers would trust with bigger jobs, without losing the friendly local feel that won the first clients.
Rebrand first, then redesign the site around the new identity
The new name and brand came first, so every design decision on the site had something to anchor to. Then the website was reworked for clarity and conversion, keeping the rankings it had already earned.

A brand built to scale, on a site that loaded in under 1.2 seconds
LeafCycle launched with a cohesive identity – logo, reversed and alternate versions, and a defined palette – built to carry into future services and marketing without another rebuild. The redesigned site scored 100 for Lighthouse performance and SEO, 96 for accessibility and 96 for best practices, and loaded in under 1.2 seconds.
Visibility kept moving even though search wasn’t the focus. Between August and December 2025, monthly search clicks rose from 19 to 39 and average position improved from 59.8 to 33.4.
The whole rebrand and redesign cost $2,350, on top of the original $2,900 build in 2023.
