A Purpose Led Organisation Needed a Website That Matched the Quality of Its Work

Paws For Support helps individuals, schools and clinicians train and certify therapy dogs. The organisation’s work is personal, specialised and built around trust, but its existing online presence didn’t communicate that professionalism clearly.

The founder needed a simple and credible website that reflected the heart of the organisation without introducing unnecessary complexity or cost. Visitors needed to understand the available programs, feel confident in the organisation and know how to take the next step.

The available budget was limited, so every page and design decision needed to earn its place. The goal wasn’t to build a large website or launch an extensive SEO campaign. It was to create a polished, technically sound foundation that could represent the organisation properly now and support future expansion.

02 · The Mission

Focus the Budget on the Pages, Proof and Pathways That Matter Most

The initial engagement focused on creating a concise three page WordPress website that could explain the organisation clearly, establish trust and give visitors a straightforward path towards making an enquiry.

Rather than filling the website with generic content just for the sake of “keyword volume”, the design was built around the people and dogs that make the program meaningful. Photographs from real therapy sessions were combined with a carefully selected set of professional images that matched the organisation’s calm, welcoming character.

Content and navigation were kept simple and purposeful. Each page helped visitors understand what Paws For Support offers, who its programs are designed for and how to take the next step without encountering aggressive sales language.

Responsive layouts, image optimisation, accessibility improvements, technical SEO and simplified WordPress administration were included in the build. This gave the organisation a website that looked credible at launch while remaining practical to manage and expand.

How We Approached the mission

Three Page Structure

The project scope concentrated the available budget into three purposeful pages that introduced the organisation, explained its programs and guided visitors towards making contact.

Authentic Visual Direction

Personal photographs from therapy sessions were paired with carefully selected supporting imagery to create a calm, professional and welcoming visual identity that felt genuine to the organisation.

Clear Program Pathways

Navigation and content were structured to help individuals, schools and clinicians understand the available services and quickly identify the pathway relevant to them.

Accessible Responsive Design

Layouts, content hierarchy, contrast and navigation were considered across desktop and mobile to make the website easier to read, understand and use for a broader range of visitors.

Performance and SEO Foundations

Images, page structure, metadata and technical settings were optimised to deliver fast loading and give search engines a clear understanding of the organisation and its services.

03· Results & Outcome

A Lean Website Build That Achieved Exceptional Technical Quality

Paws For Support launched with a professional three page WordPress website that more accurately reflected the purpose and credibility of the organisation.

The completed build achieved Lighthouse scores of 100 for performance and 100 for SEO. Accessibility improvements also produced strong audit results, with responsive layouts, readable content and structured navigation designed to support visitors across different devices and abilities.

Prospective clients could now understand the organisation’s therapy dog programs, see authentic examples of its work and follow clearer pathways towards making contact. The restrained, low pressure calls to action were appropriate for a service built around wellbeing, trust and personal support.

The engagement deliberately prioritised the essentials. It delivered a credible visual presence, clearer service communication, strong technical performance and a flexible WordPress foundation without requiring the organisation to fund a large website at the outset.

That foundation later made a dedicated SEO and content growth phase possible.
